First day of school

October Dear Parents and Students, Thank you for making our first full month of school a wonderful success. In looking forward to cooler weather fingers crossedOctober will bring about another busy month of faith filled activities and learning for our students. We have many religious events planned for the month of October to allow our students to continually experience their faith.

It was a beautiful way to start the month and I encourage all families to pray the Rosary, especially this month, as much as possible! We will also begin the Our Lady of La Leche Novena tomorrow First day of school I have asked our students to think of something very important to pray for during this Novena.

I hope our families can help our students fulfill the nine day Novena over the weekend as the ending will be on October 11th, the Feast Day of Our Lady of La Leche. As we work together to model and proclaim the beauty of our faith, I believe coming together to pray this Novena as a community will be truly special.

Also, on Thursday, October 4th, please join us for the Blessing of the Animals at 3: Dogs, cats, fish, even iguanas are welcomed to attend! Our students will work to prepare the kits and deliver them to Catholic Charities over the next couple of weeks. Classes will work to fill a large baby bottle with change or dollars to provide to the center as well.

The first quarter will come to a rapid conclusion on October 11th. Report cards will be emailed on October 19th and we will celebrate the end of the 1st Quarter with a special treat from HSA! We hope you can join us on October 23rd for an HSA meeting starting at 8: We hope our moms and sons have a wonderful time at the Jacksonville Icemen Catholic Night on October 13th!

To help with ordering, we are asking for all soda and water donations to be made by October 11th. This is a wonderful community night when our school and parish come together to celebrate this wonderful time of year! Before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season begins, I hope each family has the opportunity to take this month to relax and enjoy your time together.
